Evan and Helen met in Bend in 2017, uniting over a shared commitment to being part of the environment rather than altering it to suit human needs.
Evan brings over a decade of high-desert native landscaping expertise, bringing the same patience, precision, and respect for terrain that he relies on as an avid big-wall climber.
Helen adds deep business insight from five years consulting across the outdoor industry, driven by the endurance and focus of a nationally ranked cross-country skier. Together, their combined passion and craft drive Wild Shepherd’s mission to build thoughtful, water-wise landscapes across Central Oregon.
